Who Are We?
EPIC 4:12 is a ministry dedicated to youth. The ministry serves people from age thirteen to fifteen. EPIC is an acronym for “Endless Possibilities in Christ”. 4:12 is a reference to 1 Timothy 4:12 which states, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” We believe that, instead of allowing people to look down on you because of your age, you should be someone that they can look up to (an example) based on the way that you live your life.
What Do We Do?
As a youth ministry, it is our desire to empower and encourage this population. We have Bible studies every fourth Sunday during morning service. Our Bible studies are an open floor discussion where the youth can come and talk openly and honestly about whatever they choose.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION STATEMENT? EPIC 4:12 is a youth ministry under the umbrella of Greater Liberty Baptist Church working to teach young people about God and increase their understanding of the Gospel through the study of scripture, fellowship, and the spreading of Good’s Word. We seek to positively impact believers and nonbelievers alike to create an atmosphere of willing spiritual growth.
WHAT IS OUR VISION STATEMENT? The objective of EPIC 4:12 is to empower, encourage, and increase the faith of young people. We believe that a personal relationship with God and good spiritual health are important. We aim to do this through positive communication with one another, mutual accountability to each other, and fellowship amongst one another. We will consider ourselves successful when we are able to learn theWord for ourselves, spread it to all nations, and create environments where our peers are able to develop an independent relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
